Luxury on the Move 2025: A Celebration of Design, Performance, and Community
On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, Luxury on the Move, hosted by Nautilus Architects, made its exhilarating debut—welcoming over 120 exotic cars from across New England and drawing hundreds of spectators to our studio grounds in Old Lyme. With perfect weather, live music, and an atmosphere charged with admiration for fine design, the event was a spectacular celebration of craftsmanship—on wheels and in architecture.
The show field featured an extraordinary lineup of Lamborghinis, Lotus, McLarens, and Maseratis, alongside a vibrant vintage VW Connecticut Cocktail Car 
and the beloved Munchies Food Truck. Guests enjoyed handcrafted pastries prepared by Barbara Arelt, a former executive pastry chef and co-owner of Nautilus Architects, adding a warm and personal touch to the day.
As the premier architectural firm behind numerous award-winning luxury homes—and the garages that house these remarkable vehicles—Nautilus Architects proudly showcased its work to a captivated audience. Past clients, car enthusiasts, and community members alike experienced firsthand the synergy between bespoke architecture and automotive excellence.
This inaugural event exceeded all expectations and marked the beginning of an annual tradition. Luxury on the Move will return the first Sunday of June each year—a celebration of innovation, luxury, and lifestyle.
